Finally got my 2003 Black/Ebony MDX after trading in my Honda Pilot 2 weeks ago.
I like it! It rides smooth and tight and so many new gizmos to play with. And I can't say 100% for sure, but guess what Worm - no rattle.
Rode it home on the highway and drove around a tiny bit in the city and got a whopping 13.3 mpg. Hope it gets better than that.
There were a few minor scratches on it when I inspected it but the dealer had one their guy buff them out while I waited.
The wood shift knob might be mahogany instead of the burlwood I asked for (and most people here get with their 2003's). Is the burlwood lighter and browner than the mahogany? The dealer ordered the burlwood and I'll check out the difference.
The clock was not set to the correct time. No biggy, but doesn't look good on the dealer.
Anyway, I'm now part of the MDX community. I think my money has been better spent (even though I paid more) with the MDX than the Pilot. There's more value there. |

You are probably the first member to trade in a Pilot for an MDX - should be a prize or something:cool: |

I bought at Acura East in Ajax (just outside Toronto). They gave me the best deal on my Pilot. I should have just bought the MDX in the first place, I guess.
Anybody used them before? Any comments on their service?
How about Sherway? Is their service good? |

I've been to Sherway for service twice, very helpful and they shuttle you to/from work. Also wash the MDX for you.
Sales team was very helpful, upon pick up, I got a "training course" on all the features. |

Congrats on your new X! And a fellow Torontonian to boot! My mileage was the same when I got mine, even htough after 3300 kms on the X now, and I am still averaging only 15 mpg. Enjoy your X!
