Nice! What size rims? 20's or 19's?

steventimm,

Those grey fender flares with the tafetta white really set off you rims and tires. Great look!:29:

Thx.

They are '19 rims. They do make a huge difference in the overall look and feel....IMO. My wife is happy (she drives...I take care) and the kids are too (RES)!

how much were those 19's with the tires?
steventimm
$1750 installed (not including tax). Bought locally from Big O Tires but you can buy from tirerack.com too.

Hey Steventimm,

What percentage is your front tint windows? 20 or 35? Any problems with the tinting? For me Ziebart didn't do a good job on the front passenger windows, claiming the rubber fender is too tight, leaving a clear line at the edge of the window.

The darkest you can legally go in Washington is 35...that is what I had done. I have had no problems...Auto Trim of Seattle did the work and I also had them tint my A6 as well.

nice mdX! always wanted to see a TW customized... have you considered color matching the fender and lower trim pieces? the contrast you have is a nice look - probably very unique to the mdx. most of the other suv's out there come with color matched pieces as OEM; ie: X5 4.6 and the ML55...

another question i had was what are your thoughts/input on the perilli scoprions - look, wear, ride, noise, tracking, handling, etc.
steventimm
Thx....yes, I was originally going to color match the fender and trim pieces but when i saw them against the MDX with the wheels etc I liked the look so went with it. I'm not a fan of the 2-tone paint jobs so didn't think I'd like the contrasting pieces but it does work for me, so I'll stay with it. Not sure if you could achieve the same look with darker body colors though.

The Scorpions are great.....have no complaints. It's wet up in the NW this time of the year and they do wonderfully in the rain. Ride is quiet too. I'd buy again.
