Non-commercial For Sale items need to be in the classifieds. No cross-posting. Thanks. |

Hi Tbono:
___Don’t you think one post in the classifieds is enough? Three posts scattered throughout the site is a bit over the top IMHO.
___As for the price … $33,500 for an 02 Premium and $600 - $700 in accessories (tires didn’t add a $ although it was a nice upgrade) is a tough sell given a brand new 03 Premium is just $36,200 delivered from anywhere and have been found for $34,700 delivered with a little leg work ;)
___Good Luck

Hi excel,
Thanks for the opinion, although i did not ask for opinions.
Have to disagree with you, the tires cost $700.00 installed and do ad to the value. As for being to steep in your opinion, i have had three calls since sunday and two of them turned into appointments. TIme will tell. |

I too agree that a thread in Classifieds is MORE than enough:28: |

Sorry, I was not trying to piss anybody off.
Nor, did I know that I was doing something wrong by mentioning that my truck is for sale in the classified section?? I guess I did not assume by listing my truck for sale on this site that I would get opinions, especially negative ones. I value my Mdx just like everyone else, and unfortunately have to sell it and get a fair price for it. |

| I'm sure it may vary from state to state, but the one advantage of purchasing a used vs a brand new '03 MDX is the state sales tax - in CA that would be a 8.25% savings . . . it's also a major deterrent for CA owners from trading in a late model for a new model, no one wants to take the double tax hit - you cannot recover the sales tax from your trade in and you will pay sales tax on the new car . . . |

In Texas you have to pay taxes on used car purchases - not a significant tax savings on $34K used MDX vs. a $38K new one:rolleyes:
8% on $4000 = $320. Not enough for me to base a decision on. |

that tbono would sell his car at his required price. In Canada, a '01 MDX with 30K Km is actually sold for around $Can. 43K according to the Canadian black book. A new '01 one was sold at $Can. 47K 2 years ago.
