i bought a spare MDX remote off of ebay and received it yesterday.
i programmed it as recommended in another thread on our web site, which came from the odyssey web site originally.
it programmed/worked perfectly, until last night when i tried to remotely lock my MDX and could not.
i tried both remotes, original and spare and neither worked nor could i successfully reprogram either one.
does anybody have any suggestions for fixing this problem?

Hmm. I bought a spare remote a few months ago and although programming was a little tricky (I followed the instructions in the Helms Manual) I eventually got all 3 to work. I've had no problems since then.
I think someone else posted the procedure on this site.
I'm not sure it the Ody procedure is the same (I've got an 02 which I assume uses the same unit as the 03).
If you can't find the instructions on this site, post the link to the Ody instructions and I'll compare them.
Is it possible you hit the open or close button 6 times in quick succession? On my CL, this would reset the remote. I think I tried this on the MDX when I first received the remote and it didn't do anything (as expected since I don't anyone to walk up and synch the remote to my door).
Did you try removing the batteries, wait a few minutes, then try to reprogram them?
