I want to integrate a TV tuner into the RES system and the local mobile stereo store guy is telling my to install a VCR with a built-in TV tuner instead of a tuner alone. It will actually cost less to do it that way, but I don't really need the VCR. So, if there is a specific brand of tuner that gets better reception, performance, etc. I'd opt for that. If, however, a tuner is a tuner, I'll just throw in the VCR to boot. Anybody?
