Has anyone else noticed the huge difference in the release of these vehicles. VW has had it's car reviewed by every major motoring journal. Earning it's self first place in several areas including comparisions, and most recently in the Car and Driver Five best Trucks. The car is not even available! And it looks like it won't be until MAY?!?
Lucky for Acura I guess, because I would have probably shopped my MDX against it pretty hard.
Meanwhile we hear nothing from Infiniti, until 3-4 weeks before it hits the showrooms. No write-ups in the press until just recently, and heck I have seen a few on the road already!
I think it almost ridiculus for the Trade Journals to keep writing up a car that is not available. What is the purpose of a comparision to cars that are not even available? |

| I think this really depends on the manufacturer. I know that VW and Porsche were agressively marketing their new truck by making it available to the auto press (press junkets). Infiniti was not, that is why there is very little press fanfare before the introduction. |
