Can you believe it? Frenchie, from American Idol, was kicked off the competition because she worked for an adult web site 4 years ago.
She had the best voice and presence of anyone on the show. I am disappointed with Fox for this. (This coming on the heels of a "Joe Millionaire" show that was supposed to reveal his final pick, but was just a highlight show)

Don't know if it will do any good, but there is a petition online to bring back Frenchie. I signed it, and you can keep your email address private for security. You are allowed to enter your "comments" on the Frenchie situation.

What a pisser - we've been looking forward to hearing her; she seemed to be one of the better ones in the group.
Tho I liked the nerdy guy who went first last night, and the Over the Rainbow gal who was a little too 'in your face' to Simon after he rated her personality. Ruben was good, but I don't think he was better than those two. |

That is a bummer. She had such a strong voice. She was for sure, one of the top 3 singers in the competition. But what does that mean exactly, "eliminated from Fox's talent competition after she acknowledged she worked for an adult Web site four years ago."?
"[W]orked" is the obviously operative word there, but it can mean many things. Was she in some admistrative or even in the website developement capacity with the company, or something else? The detail is very ambiguious. |

According to the articles below, Frenchie actually posed nude for an adult internet site 4 years ago, at the age of 18.
I still think she should be reinstated to the show. That was the past... Anyway, I think there are some performers today with skeletons in their closets...

I see, I see. Still, it's really too bad that she was dismissed from the show. Who in the world doesn't have any skeletons in their closets? That said, it's kinda scary to think that she posed nude and people actually paid money to see it. I really like her voice...but brrrr........ |
