Auto Wipers Shake the X in place? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I know it never rains in Southern California, but Boy! Is it raining now! And I've noticed something very odd about the X and it's wipers.

Sitting at a stop light this morning on my drive in to work, I had the wipers on auto and they were going high speed, and the X perceivably moves! Seriously! It feels like a 200 pounder is inside throwing his weight from side to side. (Strong wiper motors, eh?)
It almost made me a little seasick :16:

Obviously, it isn't noticeable when the X is rolling.

At the next light, the rain lessened midway through the light cycle, and I noticed that the movement ceased when the wipers slowed.

I know I'm not crazy. This was truly noticeable.
Has anyone else experienced this?

My RX300 also shakes when stopped when the wipers are on high speed. The shake is quite apparent but not as severe as what you have described, but close. As far as my new X is concerned it has not rained since I picked it up on 12/26/02......just snow.

I have not noticed that, but I'll try to pay attention next time it rains.

I drove my '03 MDX for the first time in the rain today and noticed how loud the wipers were, sort of a thud sound. I guess there's no chance of falling a sleep at the wheel when you have the wipers on.
