Hey all,
Once again I am coming to the forum for help. I installed the hitch last weekend and intend to tackle the coolers this weekend. I have done searches and think I have most of the info. Coolers themselves look easy.
I want input on R/R of the bumper cover.
I have seen many references as to pulling it off. Is it really hard to pull off? Wiggle it side to side? All input is appreciated.
My other concern is the clips/pins (on the bottom?). Some say it is hard, others say easy. Does it take a special tool, or is a screwdriver ok? What tools did you use to remove them? Do you spray them with silicone first? Have some folks broken them while trying to remove? etc, etc...
Thanks in advance |

| Your best bet is to buy the service manuals, which will walk you through what you need to do. www.helminc.com has them. I cannot understand why anyone would attempt to repair/modify a car without having a set of service manuals -- but then, I "R" an engineer. |

Went smoothly. I used a small screw driver to gently pry the pin heads up from the clips and they came out very easily. The method to pry the pin heads up may be helpful to others, as some may attempt to pry the whole clip out without knowing.
Beyond this and all the other helpful tips in this forum, manuals wouldn't have helped because I already had all the Honda instructions. I was looking for real feedback. Manual is a good idea. Just haven't gotten it yet.
