First of all, I have found this site to be extremely helpful in figuring out some things, from extended warranty pricing to cell phone mounts. I think this is my favorite site on the web to visit now.

I picked up my new X last Saturday and now have @300 miles on it. Great vehicle, I definitely made the right choice this time. I traded in a 2002 Landrover Freelander that I just purchased in May of last year. After hitting a deer with that vehicle and waiting over 60 days for the return of the vehicle because of parts availability issues I decided to get out of the Landrover line. I took a big hit, as you can imagine doing the trade.

I was very disappointed with the Rover's ability in the snow, it was terrible and that was really the reason I bought it. The X is great! We don't plow our 600' driveway so this is an important thing for us in Upstate NY as it has been a very snowy winter so far. Lack of power and poor gas mileage on the Rover I knew going in but it's amazing that the X is an ULEV, has much better performance, and still gets better gas mileage. And of course, has much more room and a lot more toys.

I even got a tin of cookies from the Acura dealer in the mail yesterday, is that class or what?

Anyway, I'm not adding anything that you folks don't already know but I wanted to share my thoughts.

Congrats on the new purchase. We just received a major storm here overnight and I am hoping to get out and "enjoy" it with my X. Don't forget to post pics!!:D
