Can someone who installed a Blitzsafe on an 03 Touring and Nav model with the standard indash 6 changer *please* point me in the right direction?
I've done a bunch of searching on the topic here and could not get a confirmation on the following for my vehicle:
Exact Blitzsafe model I need
An optimim install location (I think it's towards the bottom of the dash console)
Instructions on which faceplates to remove and which fuses to connect
Instructions on required wire splicing or anything else beyond 'plug and play'

I installed one in my 02 MDX, but contact Ron at 732-388-7000. He can tell you exactly what model you need. I brought mine during a group buy from Ron several months ago.
There was no fuses to remove or wires to splice when I installed mine.

I just ordered from Ron over the phone - it's the HON/ALP DMX V.1 for our model.
Search on Blitzsafe and you'll find pictures of installs as well as removing the trim around the HU/NAVI. It looks like a 20 minute job. |

| Is this is the adapter that allows us to select another audio source fro the head unit by pushing the CD button twice? I want to add another CD changer (Alpine CHM-S630 or Alpine CHM-S634). Do I need this? |

Yes, that's what it does. From what I understand, for the Alpine changer, you'll need the HON/ALP DMX V.1D model.
Do a search on the Alpine CHM-S634 and you'll find what you need. |
