| You might want to do a search on this. It has been addressed in several threads. My understanding is that NO it can't. The screen is completely different and the non-Navi X doesn't have the wiring in place. |

| can the wiring be done? I mean just totally take out the Trip Computer and replace the screen with a Nav/DVD like the pioneer? |

mongrel,
If you are talking about retrofitting the factory Navi into a non-Navi MDX then theoretically, it can be done. On the other hand, practically, it is not worth it as this would be a very expensive proposition. A more cost effective alternative would be to get an aftermarket Navi system.
As harmonr1 mentioned above, this has been addressed on several occasions in the past. If you want to see specific details of these discussions, a search function will provide lots of information.
Good luck. |
