This month I'm totally clueless what to do for a special, so let's put it to a vote! Polling will close tomorrow morning.....vote for the accessory of your choice from the list.

Tim,

Thanks for allowing us to vote for March's special :29:. I have most of the accessories listed above, but still need few more and they are not listed. Therefore, it would be nice to get free wheel locks with my next order.

Just a thought...would it be possible to include the Weathertech Mats(front & back) to the voting list :) ?
hondacuraworld
I would if I could, but after paying for shipping in and shipping out, there's really nothing left to discount :(

No problem!

How about selling some HIDs? Yeah! I would feel much better buying them from Tim after all the things that i've heard about the great guy! Also, anyone have a picture of the keyrings? I went on the site, but there is no pic! :(
cmdpm
tim,

it would be great if you could manage to offer a high quality (Tal & Hadas or other) front bush bar and skid.
these would give our MDXs a more aggressive look and protect the front of the car.
rear bumper guard would also be a great addition.

hope you can get it done.

regards,

chris

Hi GreatScot:

___Out of all the exterior accessories I have installed on the TW X to date including the Chrome Side Steps, HiddenHitch, Acura Harness, and painted Rear Deflector (the TW BSM’s and wheel locks came with it), the Form Fit Front Deflector added the most to its overall appearance. I also know that it will protect our X’s hood from flying stones and debris given its tough construction as you will once it is installed on your own. I still have to install the body colored Fender Flares once their body color paint job is complete and the 03 Chromed “Base” wheels which are still in the initial purchase phase (thanks Dave M.!). Up to this point however, the Form Fit Front Deflector is the number one appearance accessory I can think of and it looks Xcellent ;)

___As for the interior, I would have to say the Burlwood shift knob is the number one item on my list of most attractive interior accessories to own. The steering wheel will probably take top honors once it arrives and is installed however. If anyone does go with the Wood-Grain Steering Wheel and Burlwood Shift Knob, you may as well make it a hat trick and install the Wood-Grain Meter trim to complete the package. It is a very nice addition to a rather bland looking instrument cluster if I do say so myself. The Acura All-Weather mats look good for what they are as my son has already tracked them up nicely but some have said the WeatherTec’s that Tim supplies look even better. The Cargo Net was a nice addition …at least that is what my wife thought the first time she used it.

___Finally, I hope you will all enjoy installing your Tim purchased accessories as much as I have in the past week. Your X will definitely take a step up in the looks department and will be better protected and/or have more functionality afterwards.

___Good Luck

Hi excel,
thanks for your words of encouragement. I will be cleaning the X tomorrow (it drizzled here for a wee while today when I was out) then do the Formfit install myself. As for all the woodie goodies, those are on my list, but I'm trying to address the "functional" items first. I do like wood in car interiors so I know I'm going in your direction. I look forward to seeing pics of your white X with all its goodies. I found the Marne's Great White thread and thought his X to be very nice. :29:

Thanks Tim!

On Wednesday night, I came this close (index finger and thumb really close together) to placing an order for cargo tray and a cargo cover. The only thing that stopped me was that my credit card was upstairs and it was late... I figured that I'd get to it on Thursday. Then I saw this poll. For once, my laziness actually paid off! :D

Order will be placed this evening.

Woohoo! My cargo tray came today and I just installed it. My easiest DIY install yet! I'm just waiting for the cargo tray to lay nice and flat. When it arrived, it was all rolled up. Thanks, Tim. So, what's next month's special going to be?! ;)

Hey Tim, how about some discounted open box or returned items like you did afew months back?

I'm placing my order for a cargo tray today! The fender flares I ordered from Tim are now being painted to match the painted rear deflector.

Wood steering wheel would be my next choice!!!

Does the cargo tray come in the Saddle color?

The OEM Cargo Tray only comes in black (just like the OEM All-weather Floor Mats). There are several non-OEM alternatives that come in a 'tan' that matches the saddle color fairly well. I have the black OEM cargo tray in my Midnight Blue/Saddle X and it looks fine.
