I just drove up to my gargage door and notice one of my Silverstars had a slightly differant color temp.
My driver side bulb is whiter then my passenger side.
Not too happy with that, what to do?
Any one with the same problem?
They are 9005 bulbs made to fit the low beam socket.
Please advise  |

| I think you just might have a lemon. Just bring it back to wherever you bought it and change it for new ones. Its happened to me before, but i gave up on HID lookalike and got HID's :). |

They have been modified, little chance of them taking it back IMO.:8: |

| The 9005 are for the high beams and puts out more light (1700 lumens) compare to a low beam 9006 bulb (1000 lumens). The bulbs are the same except for a slightly differant groove inside the connector. You can easily grind it off with a small file, quicker if you had a drexel mutli purpose machine like I had. Big differance in light output. Any way I just got a chance to put out the bulb to check it out. They are two spots (looks like silver coating ) that developed on both sides of the bulb. This must be whats causing the light to burn slightly less white, the brightness doesnt seem to be so effected. Anyway I'm going to try to return them and see what happens. :3: |
