Hello All,
I'm new to the forum. Just want to know if anyone have done replaced the existing DVD player with other that use the existing flip-down LCD. Any pointer would be very appreciated.

I haven't read of anyone doing this, but it shouldn't be too difficult. It would involve tracing down the wires that would normally come from the DVD player (Helms manual would be helpful here) and splicing in the new ones. You would lose the head unit control of the DVD player.
One other possibility would be to simply plug the audio and video connections from your new DVD player into the third row inputs and leave the original DVD player attached. Then, the input is selectable by the head unit by choosing AUX (that's how I get the audio from my MP3 player). |
