The latest (April '03) car issue of Consumer Reports arrived in the mail today, and one of the cover stories is "Why Blue Headlights Have Drivers Seeing Red." The article itself, "Blinded By The Light," is on pp. 14-16. Since I'm one of those who find oncoming HIDs to be far more blinding than any other lights (except high beams, of course), I found the article interesting and informative. It may be an age thing, since I'm 66, but my eyesight is otherwise OK, and I still don't need eye correction to drive.
The article doesn't seem to be posted on their website, unless perhaps if you're an on-line subscriber. |
