I got my MDX yesterday and last night I installed the roof rack and rear mud guards & Razzo's. Tonite I will install the fender flares and roof shield. The roof rack and flaps were very easy to install. Tim sent great directions with all of the accessories and they were very helpful. For those of you who haven't yet decided or are afraid of installing yourself, it is very easy to do. Helps the bonding with your new MDX!
Ha, bet you're having a great old time outfitting your new MDX! I almost want to take something off so I can put it on again.

Enjoy! You need to get us some pix when you're done!

I will post some pics as soon as I read some past posts and figure out how to do it!
I think that I will paint the side steps to match the wheels but not sure if powder coating might not be better?

I've been lurking and learning while I wait for the magic call from my dealer. You mentioned that you were going to tackle the fender flare installation job yourself. Is it really as easy as Tim's ad suggests (no drilling)? My dealer wants $819 plus tax which is a long way from Tim's $520. I'm willing to scrape a bunch of knuckles for $300.

Go for it!! I just completed doing the fender flares and side step installation over the weekend. It was quite simple (just follow the directions). I guess it makes sense that the hourly workers at the dealership are not geniuses right?
It took about two hours for the first side and then about 30 minutes for the other. No drilling no hassles and saves a ton of money!!
Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the pep talk. I'll let you know how it goes. Can't wait to get my hands on the vehicle. We're down to one auto and my wife's Avalon is no substitute.

pdxmdx - did you end up painting your side steps? I think a powder coat silver would look great on every color but mine, which is already silver. The easy alternative would be to stay with black, the expensive one would be to do chrome - bet that'd be nice though. Glad to hear the installation is more time than effort!
I put them on the way they came-black. I wanted to have them powder coated because I think that it would look good with the GG but I couldn't wait. I get a little impatient. so for now they are as they came. It looks pretty good. I could always take the bar off the have it painted later.
