The link is here, http://tinyurl.com/70oz I really don't know what these numbers mean. I did read the follow up replies on that page, but I'm rather curious as to why this fellow decided to use 0W-30 rather than 5W-30.
Also, it seems as though, after having read many posts in various forums, the biggest, if not the only reason Honda specified the 5W-20 oil was improve the CAFE numbers or the mileage numbers for the gov't agency submission. As well, why would Acura specify using 5W-30 for the '00, '01 MDX's then all of a sudden recommend 5W-20 for the '03 X? They have the exact same engine and engine parts, AFAIK. |

I have to say it :)
What does it all mean? From the posts I read, it sounds like there are a lot of people with too much time on their hands...... |

Ok, thanks, I won't worry about it then. Funny thing is, I thought I was posting this over on honda-pilot.org and was waiting and waiting for it to show up, but it didn't and I figured, just as well. I thought nobody wants another synthetic oil/oil weight debate. Then, I see I posted it in here. DOH! |
