| I put the cargo cover from Acura on my new 2003 MDX. Now, there seems to be a lot of rattling back there. Is there a way to tighten the cross brace that holds the cover mechanism? It is held in by pressure from what I can tell. Has anybody else experienced noise after installing the cover (there was no noise prior to this).:confused: |

I know there has been issues with the cargo cover fitting correctly. People have written that they have the cargo cover rolling up on them when they hit a bump!! This thread might help you out!:D |

| Mine barely ever rattles. It's very well made IMO. Rarely, I do hear it though. Not a problem so far though so that I "prefer" to have it unspooled vs. spooled out covering the trunk area. |

| Mine only rattles slightly when not extended. Otherwise it's as quiet as a mouse! |

Dear Illini Bird,
i think it might be same situation as mine.
mine was ok at first (when they installed),
but when i had to take it out for the 3rd row seats,
and then installed for myself, it rattled.
i took it out again and noticed that one end has
an extending spring to fit the whole thing in there
so played with this spring a little bit to pop out well
when it'd be inserted. (spring could not be as soft at first)
now i don't hear much of a rattling noise at all.
try to take it out and put it back again with some pushes on one end
where springing extension is. |
