| OK, here's a challenge - anyone know where you can get the small SUV / Van steps (usually two steps high) that limo drivers use for elderly folks? My 80-yr old Mom needs to get into the X but can't step that high . . . |

You might try getting a small light weight plastic two step stool
(Rubbermaid) or similar at Target or Home Depot. They are pretty inexpensive. I have the same issue with my mother and it seems to work okay. Also they are great for small jobs around the house.
The limo steps I have seen used were mainly custom made by the drivers from plywood and then carpeted.
