| After reading this forum, I have decided to forgo the dealer installed roof rack, fender flares, mud flaps, and wood shifter nob and buy them from hondacuraworld. Now the last question has anyone tried installing the wood steering wheel? Is this best left to professionals? |

| I would think that you would want to leave it to the "pro" due to the air bag... |

We've discussed this one a handful of times. Consensus is that you need the dealer to do it. Primarily airbag issues, along with properly aligning the wheel so it's on straight. There's also some sort of "cable reel" in there -- probably the electrical cord for the airbag or for the radio remote switches (or both). And you'd need a sterring wheel puller to get it off.
Figure it'll cost you 1.5 hours of labor @ $70. |
