| Just curious what mileage anyone has put (or plans to put) new Cross Terrains on. I am at 37,000 miles and wonder how much more wear I can reasonably expect. I usually change my tires earlier than necessary, but these pups are not cheap! |

| How close are you to the wear indicators? |

| I can recall a few members mentioning they had close to 60000 miles before they replaced their tires. |

| Not close on the wear indicators, but I never wait that long to get new tires. I was just curious about the tire wear for other people. |

| this is really a subjective topic. Depending on how you drive will determine when you need to change tires. Also, any damage (ie dry rot) etc... will determine. For example, I ride Harleys with some of my buddies and they go through tires every 6-8K because of their driving habits. I can get anywhere from 10-12K out of a set of tires. Just check the treadwear and keep them maintained. You will know when to change them. |

| it depends how you drive. If you drive mostly on highway, the milage could be greater than mostly stop and go city traffic. |

Interesting note, if you look at the wear rating on the sidewall, the Goodyear Integrity has a higher wear number rating than the Michelin. |

Just traded in my '01 MDX with 58,800 mi.
on the original Cross Terrains and they looked like they had at least another 10,000 mi. left on them. I hope I get as good wear on with my new '03 MDX. |

Just had my 02 MDX serviced. Regarding the Cross Terrains, I have 52k miles on them. Was told that there is 6 32nds tread left on them; however there is some starting of tire dry rot evident on all of them.
Was advised that when the MDX is next serviced in about 7K miles, I should consider putting new tires on them.
Any comments on the advice? Am I getting good wear on the tires? |
