It seems that Acura wants to step up on their advertising on this site. It's a bit ridiculous, but it's only for a short period of time. So please forgive the ugliness of the top part of the page. It should all go away by the end of May.

It is great to have this free site and a few more banners are no big deal. The Lincoln LS owners website (wifes' car) charges for being a member and that forum is far inferior to this one.
I understand that you have to pay the bills. |

Banners aren't annoying unless they're animated.
Even then, animated banners aren't as annoying as pop ups.
The Phoenix web browser has an extension called "Nuke Image" that comes in real handy for banners. I've used it on Linux, and an office-mate uses it on Windows. It's not crash-proof (but neither is the Internet Explorer 5/6 I use regularly), but Nuke Image is worth it.

| I love this forum, so I really don't mind the ads at all. But, with the 260HP@56K ad, it's a wee bit too big and it kind of messes up the formatting of the top frame, will they let you scale it down to fit in that area? like it was before? if not, that's cool... still lovin this site!!!!!! |
