The article claims the second row seats slides forwards and backwards. Is this true? I know if reclines but I don't think it slides.

It is slidable forward in the sense that gives more room for people to get into the 3rd row, but it's not lockable in the sense that you can lock it and give more legroom for the 3rd row passengers. So in other words, the article is not right.
