I purchased a wood trim for my X 2003 from Sherwood Dash, Inc.
But it's not matching my factory wood trim. The original trim is a bit lighter. The kit I bought is for 01-02 models. (26 pieces). If there is a difference between 01-02 and 03 model in trim color?
The wood trim I bought is very well done, coated with polyurethane, but feels soft, like a magnetic rubber. Does all after marker wood trims looks like that?
Any comments on this?

| I believe the color of the wood trim did change slightly in 03. |

Yes, there is a noticable difference on the 01--02 vs. 03 (03 is lighter).
I think all aftermarket trims are made of similar materials. |

Do a search for wood trim kits and you should find more information. I read recently that there is a difference for '03 but I can't verify this. I purchased a kit from Wooddash.com for my '03 but haven't installed it yet. I would contact the dealer and inquire about the difference.
