My Sage Brush MDX Touring/NAv, still MIA. Dealer has ETA of yesterday. Now he says it'll be here friday Can't wait..
Drove by my local Chrysler dealer and test drove their awd loaded Pacifica. Looks great, Dvd, nav, res, auto trunk etc, and most of all easy in/ out rear seats.
Sticker was a little under $41 k but wanted 4000 over sticker!? Can't imagine paying $4000 over and losing it the moment u sign for the car. Drawbacks IMO, engine, HP, reliability, Orange peel paint, Chrysler dealers, plastics, and too many options...
Will stay with my MDX.. |

Great choice! I like Pacifica too - but it is Chrysler - 1-st year production - quality issues, resale value will be lower, etc.
And you are so right about the dealer experiences. Every time I go to service my other car to Mitsubishi, I promise myself not to purchase any car except a luxury brand. :3:
Good luck and patience! :) |

Nice job--resisting the Pacifica. $4K over MSRP, what a joke. Wait a year or two, the Pacifica will be selling for invoice with 0% interest.
Your wait for the X will soon be over. I think that you'll find the X to be a cut above just about anything that you've ever driven. You're going to love your new car. |

Here's a review:

I like this quote from the article:
Fandozzi says shoppers won't compare a $36,000 Pacifica with, for instance, a same-price MDX. Instead, she says, they'll compare similarly equipped vehicles and see that Pacifica is $3,000 cheaper.
Wait. Wouldn't they be as likely to say: Instead of a fancy version of Pacifica — an unknown quantity — I'll get a plainer version of MDX, which has good owner-satisfaction scores and high resale value?

Don't forget about the excellent crash test scores for the MDX. :4: |
