I found these pictures from Hot Imports Night in San Mateo, California. These is not my X. I'm just posting them since I am surprised to see an X in an import car show. The install is too extreme for my taste but regardless it's cool. What do you guys/gals think?

With the honkin' big speakers in the back, you obviously can't put the rear-most seats up. But there are headrest monitors in the headrests of the second row! Very generous to supply 3 monitors for the guy in the car behind you to watch! And with those speakers he could probably hear the sound, too.

jonnygoodboy,

This was obviously planned, but it seems like something got lost in the execution wouldn't you agree?

DUBYA123,

Think about this...how is anyone going to watch the screens in the second row headrests when the third row seats can't even be popped up? I don't even think the family dog should be made to ride in the cargo area with those subs a blasting.:werd:
BLACK-BLING-MDX
Sigh... you guys are so old... :p... those screens in the back headrests are for shows and for display when they open up the trunk. We only put in monitors for people in the car to watch, well these people put them in for the cool factor, and because they can... they use it for "tailgating" their ricers.
DUBYA123
actually, I wouldnt do this to my X, maybe to an Escalade not an X, but I do give this guy credit for think about the car behind him.....;)

... if you have a "Type R", "VTEC", "GTR", or "Si/SiR" badge on your Cavalier/Neon.

... if your stereo cost more than your car.

... if your exhaust sounds faster than your car.

... if your car is plastered with manufacturers' stickers and doesn't actually have the parts installed.

... if you have a rear spoiler that functions at 120mph but your car maxes out at 100mph.

... if you have a front-mount intercooler but doesn't have a turbo charger.

... if you swear to God that you can beat a Mustang GT or Camaro with your naturally aspirated Civic , because you have installed a cold-air intake and 19" rims.

... if you gutted out your car's interior to save weight but installed two 15" subs and humongous amplifiers in the trunk.

I hope this give you an idea what a ricer is. Please add more to this list to further identify a ricer... :D

I had a TLs and several ricers on the TLs forum started putting their Acura logo upside down to be as they said 'different'. They feel it separates themselves from the non-ricers.

Any MDX owners that are ricers. Some of the 20+" rim guys may be bordering on being ricers? Dubya what's your opinion. Are rim modded only a separate category from 'ricer'?
DUBYA123
I'll be frank and say when I was younger I had a corolla on rims that were two big for my the car, it was rubbing in any direction, I had to match the cars color, a sony mdx ghost face, was thinking about putting altezzas, I look back and laugh now,

20's inch wheels border wanksta's, totally different story to ricers. If you watch any rap video, the trend is to put the biggest wheel size on your suv, 22's on the MDX, saw 26 on the H2, the wankstas roll around in their SUVs trying to look bling, hard, and homeboy. Ill admit i put 20s on,20s are good 22 are good, its just all that chrome attracts to much attention:2:

the official ganksta vehicle, as seen on the wanksta video (50 cent), this vehicle is gangsta, like it or hate it, its still the vehicle of the stars, I hate it, but i still want one:2:

Does anyone else see the resemblance of the H2 in the pic to a Potbelly Pig?

DUBYA123
I see it, looks really like a potbelly pig, I still gotta have one
Fredo
Didn't the H2 polled as the most wanted car by teenagers 12-17 ?

Anyway, some do spend a lot of time and effort in the tuning... and not always with Japanese cars (so, I guess, there are not Ricers per se).

For instance, here's a VW bug transformed (looks only I guess and even then... :D ) into... a 911 Carrera !
Fredo
Then again, if you can't afford the 'quality German engineering' above, you can always take an 'non-sporty' European and make THIS with it:2:

In case you're wondering, it is a Volvo 480
