MDX Space Saver tire and wheel for sale - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have the space saver spare tire (it is a Goodyear Infinity) and wheel for my MDX for sale. It's never been on the ground and thus is in like-new condition. Any reasonable offer takes it!

I had asked in another thread if a full size spare will fit the MDX? Are you selling the spare because you put a full size one in?
Yes, I have a wheel that is cosmetically damaged but otherwise servicable and a used tire that I picked up and plan to use them as the spare. I checked and it will fit. It does, however, lower the rear approach and departure angle for those who worry about such things...

For others of us who may be considering replacing the temp with a full size spare, Mogur can you tell us how it went? What is the "rear approach and departure angle." Have looked at various threads on this subject, but found nothing definitive. Thank you.

The full size wheel and tire fits quite nicely in the same location where the space saver tire was - it was clearly designed to hold it from the get-go. The only difference is that the wheel and tire hangs down a little lower and is slightly wider than the space saver. If you did not know that it didn't, you'd think it came from the factory that way. Since it does hang down slightly lower, it technically might drag if you were to stert up a really steep slope. However, I doubt that it would ever cuase a problem in the real world as few of us plan to run the Rubicon Trail with our MDXs... My wife and I now feel much better knowing that we have a full size spare when we are on a long trip.
