Whats up guys. People have been asking me about my GENAX FRONT AND REAR BRUSH GUARDS that is made for the ACURA MDX.

Some of you have already seen my listing on EBAY MOTORS.

I have been emailed and asked if i was willing to release my product via GROUP BUY.

I would love to and will .. i just have to get my pricing correct so i can do the right thing for you guys!!!

Just wondering how many people here would be interested in ordering a set ...

i will be able to offer you front alone or rear alone as soon as early next week arrives.

As of right now ... i just want to know how many of you would like my product.

For more info click the link to view the ebay page

thanks

JON

Jon,
I'd like a front bar (only) (if you'll sell them individually). I already have a hitch step for the rear. I can pick it up at your shop.
Do you have any plans to build them in stainless steel? How much?
You should post better pictures- maybe an X on the street from a more natural distance.

Where has Paul123 been? He was my partner in crime on this stuff.
Ms. Mdx
JON,
You might want to post a link to this thread/poll under "Accessories". There was a thread about bull bars a few months ago and there seemed to be quite a bit of interest. I myself, don't normally look under group buys and there might be others who don't either.

Title your post "Bull bars/brush guards for mdx (similar look to ML bars)" - this seemed to be what many people wanted a few months ago.

Hope that helps :4:
HMzJON
hey thanks alot for your replys people. i truly appreciate you giving me great honest advice.

as far as pictures.. i will try to get my hands on some for you.

again sorry for i am new here i didnt know much about the rules and regulations of this web forum. i had my listing posted somewhere else .. .i think i put it in the classified section. and then i asked the admin to move the thread.

well lets see how this comes along and if i dont get rid of my initial batch of brush guards / bull guards then i will ask admin to close this thread and i will post it somewhere else .. .

again all... thanks for the all the advice and i will try my best to get more pics for you.

hey shootist ... even if you have the rear hitch you can still install the rear guard if you are interested. all you have to do is unbolt the hitch install the guard and rebolt the hitch... i hope that made sense... if not email me and ill be happy to walk you through it
shootist
Jon,
I already have a Rhino Hitch Step installed in the hitch receiver. This is a 3 inch steel tube that works well as a "parking ding preventer".
Several of us have this hitch step, which is one reason we asked for front only bars.
How about stainless steel ? Several of the other companies, like your local competitor Tal & Haadas, have some beautiful stainless bars in addition to their black powder coat. Since you're using .065" steel tubing, stainless would probably bend on the same equipment. Of course, welding would be different.
HMzJON
as of right now shootist we have black powder coated bars...

im sure that my company will produce stainless / chromed bars ... but i cant say when that is going to happen... believe me when it does ill let everyone here know.

I would be interested in a set of both the front & rear guards.

Depending on price, a rear one would be great for me. Count me in.
shootist
I can't get a reply from HMZJON@AOL.com. He emailed me askng if I was still interested, I said Yes- How much? and he never replied.
Ah well.

Jon,
Thank you for sending the retail prices to me by PM yesterday. Since you PM'ed them, and did not post them, I must assume you don't want them released, and I will respect that.

Hi DaleB, I'm here:

Being I have the Lower trim on the Front and the bar will not go over it, I am seriously interested in the rear bar. I was recently rear ended and have to replace my rear bumper and want to install the rear bar at the same time. I like the front bar, but wish it didn't go over the fogs, I like the basic looking one better. So I will still have to search for a front bar that will go over the lower trim. I do prefer a tube like rear bar like the Jaos, but no company makes presently for the MDX. I'm in need for one now. The Genax looks alor like the Wagg and it's not that bad looking.

Count me in for a Rear Bar!

I think we should do a group buy on rear, and possibly the front if we have enough interested.
paul123
How many would be be definitely interested in a group buy on the Rear Genax Bar???? Trying to get a count to see if worth buying as a group?

I'm in for one Rear right away!!!
frankjv
paul, yes for rear, will visit jon to see what front look like in person this week or early next week

I've seen the Genax Bars on a couple of MDXs on the Roslyn Acura lot. Give them a call, maybe you can save some gas.
paul123
Be sure to mention the AcuraMdx.org website so that we will be able to get a discounted price based on how many buyers we get.

Potentially were up to 4 if they count mushman's purchase.
Here's the pic of Mushman's installation.
