As the 5,000 mile odyssey west continues, the MDX is running great. In northern New Mexico we encountered snow and mud. Haven't gotten off into pack-mule country yet, but have been well off the pavement in the search for ghost towns to photograph. So far ice, snow and mud have proven no obstacle. Roadrunner has carried us everywhere we have wanted to go with sure-footed aplomb. I hope to give her a little tougher test as we get off in the canyons of Arizona and the high Rockies in Colorado. On return to civilization I should have many more pictures to post.

Great work roadrunner. I've been waiting to see the MDX in off-road situations!! - And may I say, in my opinion, you are one of the wisest people around. YOU DID NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You bought an SUV and are using it like an SUV !!!!!! keep those great pictures coming and Thanks for sharing them with us !!!
Quick question: Does the MDX have adequate GROUND CLEARANCE on the rough terrain you've been on?? Does it scrape it's Belly anywhere?? When I get my MDX (towards end of this year) I too plan to do PLENTY OF OFF-ROADING.....YEAH OFF-ROADING GALORE !!! |
