I have two Toyota products and when I start the vehicles the doors automatically lock.
With the new MDX that I own the doors have to be manually locked. Does anyone know of a modification that will solve this? |

| I wish! This is common with Honda products for some reason. I'm sure there are Honda engineers who want this, but there must be some reason they just don't do it. It shouldn't be a cost issue for them. |

Yes- Perform this modification in this sequence:
Drive your X through a car wash.
Get out, and leave your keys on the console.
Dry your X carefully.
Detail each door opening.
When you close the last door, the MDX will auto lock your keys in.
It happened to me last weekend. Boy, was my wife amused. :3: |

Invest in a security system... My Prestige system has an auto lock function that can be enabled... I like it... |

Mdxx is right. Me too, I have an aftermarket remote starter (Sherlock) installed in my EL that allow the doors to lock once the car starts running. It is very pratical. It sounds like these American cars, but I really like it that I can't pass without it :) Same thing too, when you take off your keys from the ignition, the doors automatically unlock.
