Just picked up my white 03' last week. (Saddle int, Touring w/ RES) The wife loves it, I get to drive it on the weekends!
Just ordered bunch of accessories for it: side steps, rear wing, gold pkg & tow kit. NOT to be installed by the dealer!
Paid MSRP for it in NJ. I checked a bunch of dealers in NJ and would only sell for MSRP. The dealer i bought from actually had a $2500 MAC added to the MSRP (Market Adjustment Charge). Told him see ya, I'm going to Lexus!
I need some current opinions on a remote starter for an 03'. I did a search in here on them and only saw comments about installs on 01' and 02' models.
I've had remote starters on my past 3 4Runners and have one on my 95 Integra. When I asked the dealer about it, he said NO WAY, kiss your warranty good bye if you have an electrical problem.
If I can't put one on this suv I'll have a new chore in the mornings when it's below 50 degrees out.
Appreciate any comments.

Sure, if you go to some dark alley, have some guy who calls you "pal" install a remote starter by hacking into every wire they see and rewrap 'em all in pine tar and used dental gauze, a dealer probably would have a hard time tracking down further problems...
Some dealers actually SELL remote starters right in the showroom! It is no more difficult to install on an MDX than any other vehicle with the coded key security (and there are plenty available).
That said, I am NOT personally a fan on them, as I think they waste fuel. The MDX does 'warm up' VERY quickly, especially given its size. I suspect that the why the catalysts are integrated into the exhaust manifolds contributes to the fast warm-up ( and Honda engineers also seem very clever when it comes to making vehicles 'greener' too!). |

| At the risk of getting flammed, try Search - there are folks who have installed remote starters - should be some existing discussions, in Accessories I think. |

Hey - I pick mine up tomorrow - (was supposed to be in the 7th dealer called its in early) I also paid list in NJ, the dealer did through in body side molding.
