| My 2001 has continual oil leaks which the dealer blames on a porous engine block. Anyone out there give me some insight into this issue. |

First I have heard of that one. (porous block)
Oil leaks are not common complaints from posters here.
Take it back to the dealer, or try another one if that is possible |

| Go through the Problems > TSBs forum and look for the TSB, which has an explanation of the issue and the fix. It's about a year old so set the dropdown menu to "since beginning". |

| Don't feel bad- one of the most expensive cars I ever owned- a BMW 633- had a porous block, too. It was so bad that the engine had to be replaced at 650 miles. |
