I was finally able to Zaino the MDX yesterday.
I washed it with dawn, applied two coats of Z5 w/zfx, following each with Z6. I didnt have time clay and I figured I'll do it next spring. If I had the time I would have...

I guess the entire process took about 2 1/2 - 3 hours... but I took the dog for walk and ate breakfast while the coats of zaino were drying. The hardest part is applying the zaino... about 20 mins for applying per coat.
Just be careful not to apply the zaino or wash the car in the sun.

In a word..............YES!
My white RX looks terrific with Zaino - not as deep a shine as the Black MDX - but it still has a pretty deep shine for white.

I would highly recomend zaino. I was skeptical at first but after I did my accors I was blown away. Then I did the MDX and I was left speechless. It does look good on light as well as dark colors. In addition to a great shine, you're going to be giving your car wonderful protection. |

Whenever I've used them in the past, I've always received my order within 5 days......I'm in CT and they are in NJ so the UPS transit time is very short for me. Sounds like your order got lost somewhere. |

| I have been very impressed with the results that peope have gotten with zaino, but I have not yet seen any silver MDX's with zaino on it. My question is should I order zaino for my silver MDX or should I just go to the local auto store and pick up something less expensive. Kinda wish I would have gotten the MDX in something darker because these pics are AWSOME:drool: |

I live in TX and if I mail my order in on Friday, I receive it by the next Friday.
Go for Z1, Z2, Z5, Z6 and Z7. You can get by with either Z2 or Z5 (polishes) alone but Z5 helps hide swirl marks and it also adds a lot of depth even if you don't have swirl marks. use Z2 then Z6 to get the best reflective gloss. |

darkhelmet - it should be a week turn around time. I sent my order in on a Monday and I think I rec'd it that friday. I hear that Sal sends the order as soon as he receives the check.
greatscot - a6mdx has it right. I bought the zfx (a must), z2, z5, z6, z7. I was only able to use the z5 (with zfx) and z6 so far.
Bnuke - Thanks for the directions. I'll plug those dirs right into the nav and we'll be off. Depending on the weather, we're still planning on being there - we'll be the ones in the blue mdx with the hyper chocolate lab. It will be a fun ride up there.... |
