Is that guy the owner? This is how I pictured it:
He wanted to show off his new Sequoia off-road. He got stuck:rolleyes: :ucrazy: and a police man had to rescue him. Sorry guys but I couln't resist:crazyeye: :blahblah: :jump3: :roadtrip:
P.S. Lovin the new smileys |

That looks like a woman being rescued by a policeman. I guess when you drive an SUV, you might feel like you can drive over anything. Big mistake in this case.

I'm surprised I would have thought that the Toyota
Sequoia would have crossed water at that depth with no problem...........I have crossed water at that level in my Toyota 4runner several times in California Low Desert during Thunder storms |

What does this tell us about the Sequoia??
IT IS NOT off road worthy for extreme conditions. If the Sequoia stalls on a flood line like that...then you wonder what kind of seals they have on the engines. |

| Maybe the water was higher before the picture was taken, resulting in a disabled vehicle. Or maybe the vehicle's OK, but the driver's too shaken... |

| That water is little more than ankle deep. Puhleeeze--equal opportunity 'til it comes time to get your ankles wet. Shame on her. |

| I can't believe she wasn't able to cross that unless she tried to power thru and built up a bow wave. That will kill most anything that doesn't have a snorkel. |

The lady has new pair of shoes!! Be damn, if I were the policeman I'll have that woman remove her sneakers and wade thru the water.
Or maybe he has something (naughty) on his mind????? |

Bow wave killed the engine.
Policeman pulled his pant legs up.
With that much water they are lucky that it isn't moving. Ankle high water moving at I think 5mph (or is it 15mph) will knock you down. |

Yep, hydrolock. The air intake sucked in water pushed up in front of the vehicle. Doesn't take much speed to develop a few more inches of water height up front. |
