We had a warm Mother's day in So Cal. I was driving to my parents house for BBQ. I decided to roll down my driver side window a couple of inches to let the fresh air in.
When the window is roll downed 2 inches, I can hear the window click while I was driving low speed around residential area.
Do you guys have this problem? |

| If your not referring to the window making the click, could it be a pebble wedged in the grooves of your tires? I had that happen to me one time on another car. Drove me nuts.:ucrazy: |

m2pc,
I just checked. There is nothing stuck on my tire. |

Is it a rythmic "click" or is it a rattle when you go over bumps, and the window is vibrating side-to-side?
If the latter, then your rails/channels need replacing. Might as well check all 4 windows while you're at it before heading in. 3 of mine do it (rarely have them partially down, so haven't gone to the dealer yet). |

TheWorm,
Where does your rail/channel replacement info originate from?
When going over bumps I have: a) side to side rattle in both rear windows when partially down and b) body flexing "Snap, crackle, and popping" noises from both front doors when the front windows are fully closed. :3: |

Hello..
same here.. actually they are loose big time..
Went to dealer and checked...
Dealer quoted. "Design Flaw".. nothing can be done..
suggest that i make complaint to Acura and hope that they come up with solution (TSB)...
Dealer showed three cars (Brand New) in the lot and they are loose as well...
I made my call yesterday and waiting for a respond from Acura.. |

My front windows only click when fully closed, after many trips to the dealer it is still not fixed but I know where it comes from now. I am not sure why, but the black trim panels on the upper edge of the door are somewhat loose on mine. If you push on them, they will move inwards a bit causing the very outer seal to rub against the black trim panel of the rear door. The friction of the rubbing makes a loud clicking type sound. The dealers solution has been to adjust my doors so that they close tighter against the body to compress the trim panels more. It hasn't fully worked and now my doors are hard to open and close because they are jammed into the body........:3: |

The fix in my case was for the dealer to take apart the doors and put padding in the channels (and scratch the finish in the process).........gotta love this 42K precision machine.......:3: |
