My current position is slightly off in relation to where I am on the road. When I make a turn, the "current position icon" fixes itself by jumping to the road that I am on. But again becomes slightly off when I drive on that road for a while.
Is there a way to calibrate the nav system myself? |

I am not sure about the '03s, but the '01 NAVI can be adjusted when you are not moving. The manual tells you how to use the joystick to manually place the curser on the proper location. There is also a way to reboot the system. Go to this link:

Also be sure that you have a strong signal - that could be causing your problem too. Check out this link:

There is a way to manually reset the NAVi by pressing a combination of the various control buttons - but I forget what that is. I couldn't find it in my search - maybe someone else can post that info. |

BklynMDX,
my NAV has always had a perfect sense of where the MDX location...at intersections the MDX icon is right on the edge of the cross.
i have had to diconnect my battery when i installed driving lights and HIDs.
when the battery was reconnected i had to punch in my NAV code to reactivate the system. this is required to be done outside and preferably away from tall buildings.
each time, the GPS located the MDX and all has been perfect.
although your dealership should help you and if there is not an easier way, you may want to consider this option.
good luck,
