Just received delivery of our 2003 MDX (SBP color, running board, tailgate deflector, and wood steering wheel) on 5/12. Overall I am very satisfied with the X. It handles very well and the ride is pretty smooth.
However, I noticed when the navigation's voice is talking, 1-2 seconds before the voice is activated and 1-2 seconds after it is deactivated, there is a click sound coming from the lower left area of the steering wheel. After awhile I thought it might be because the audio system was turned off and when the navigation voice is activated a relay kicks in. Sure enough when I turned on the audio system with the volume turned all the way down, the click sound disappear completely.
Has anyone notice this click sound? Is a minor problem but if it is a defect I like to get it fix at the 7500 miles service.
