| My pick is easy. out of your choices, I've only been on American Airlines. I was pleased. I really liked the First Class seat/bed. The food and service was excellent... |

Wow, you must have really rich parents to be travelling 1st class on what I presume was a intercontinental flight.
I've travelled on several airlines which weren't in the list, including, Delta, Air Canada, KAL, Asiana, Qantas and have travelled on AA and JAL which are on the list. On KAL, JAL, Asiana and Delta and AA, I have been bumped up to the 1st class in the past and I'd say JAL had the best 1st class out of those. Very, very attractive and attentive stewardesses on JAL, but KAL had the losest ones.
But even though I haven't had a chance to fly this airline and don't know if I will get to in the near future, I already know which airline is my favorite....HOOTERS!! :2: |

American Airlines is the only one I have experience with from the list.
Have never flown 1st class, that is probably why I could afford to buy the MDX. |

Haven't flown Cathay or Singapore. I fly Virgin Atlantic every time I go to the UK. Love it, love it, love it. Many channels on TV, plus many movie choices. Every seat has its own monitor with channel selector remote controls. Cabin socks, sundries, etc. a totally pampered experience.
When in the UK, you can get online with lastminute.co.uk and select very competitive flight rates all over Europe. Last time, we flew round trip from London to Rome for $90.00. Airlines in Europe are a dime a dozen, and they compete like crazy. |

The only thing that is stupid is this statement... obviously, different people experiences vary.... intellect has nothing to do with it.:32: :bonk: :twak: :headslap: |

| Ive flow united and their 1st class rocked. However, Ive flown american, delta, sprit air (they suck) and its just a plane... nothing special. However, we were going to fly jet blue when the airline first came out but the wife said no - no to leather seats and 24 channels of dirtectv in every seat. Some of my coworkers have flow jet blue and they said its fantastic. |

Exactly! People will roll in the aisles probably when I tell them some of the best service I've experienced has been Southwest. I am talking 'service' not frills. Frills they ain't got! |

| My favorite airline is the one with the lowest price for the trip I am taking. I have had both good and bad experiences with several airlines. Depends on the day, date, time, crew etc.:1: |

JAL or Singapore airline if I am flying alone, the scenery on the plane is very nice.:D
With the family then United or American, the scenery is bit older and not as good. :13: |

Jet Blue is revitalizing the air travel industry. Bring your own headphones to improve the audio sound on the TV. Two thumbs up for sure. :29: :29:
However, can we give United a little support. I have a sister, a heavy equipment operator for United, who has been on a job security roller-coaster ride since 9/11. Pay cuts, increased medical premiums, and layoffs just to mention a few.
Your patronage will be appreciated.
And sorry, no stocks here that would benefits...
Thanks. We can all make a difference.:roadtrip: |

I've had good/interesting experiences with United.
Here's a log from September 2001:
1) On 9/10 I leave SFO for Philly, nonstop. Flight 90.
2) United inadvertently sends my bag to JFK.
3) On 9/11 Flight 93 from Pittsburgh goes down in mid-Pa.
4) On 9/13 My missing bag is trucked to my hotel in Philly.
5) On 9/13 at 9pm, United schedules me a returned flight.
6) On 9/14 I leave on United Flight 91 nonstop for SFO. |

DaleB,
United does rock, and with all the times ive flown with them, they kicked ass. Its usually the first airline I look at when traveling. |

They have kicked mine a few times, off one plane all the way across Chicago's O'Hare to another terminal with last minute flight changes, delays, etc. I have no love for United, not customer friendly at all IMO. :3: |

I hope you were nicely compensated. They paid me $85 a day until mine arrived at the hotel the time they sent it on to NY.
Similar events of course have happened on every airline. Considering I was travelling the week of 9/11, I never expected them to remember my bag, and to get a flight out the same week seemed miraculous at the time. |

I liked Swissair but 9/11 finished them off.
AirFrance is good, AirCanada has good food/lots of drink. British Airways is good but has bad food, so no one will think English food is good. Still havent flown Lufthansa or Virgin.
What is everybodies favourite airliner? |
|
|
| DaleB |
Lufthansa is excellent for service. Plus, over the PA system the pilot will give you enough technical informaton about the plane to build your own Luftwaffe!
I thought the service on BA was surperior to AF. At least on the two I flew. On Air France it was nice service, but then they would disappear for an hour, on BA they attendants were genuinely friendly. Yeah the food was not great, but then we are talking about airline food here!
 |

I can't add my choice to your list.
Being a private pilot, I vote Greg Airways :4:
Always ontime and never a hassle! |

| Well, BA and JAL redeisigned some of thier seats, flatbeds are all the rage. But nothing can beat CX and SIA  |
