I've looked at other vibration threads. I don't think this is the same as any of them.
At about 6000 miles (engine oil changed at 4900) I noticed that I would feel a vibration or roughness in the gas pedal at around 1200-1300 RPM. There's enough of it to grab my attention and annoy me. I feel this if I'm pulling away slowly or applying light throttle while cruising at medium speed (say up to 40 MPH). It reminds me of a similar situation in the Camry that occurs only at lowest revs in 4th gear at about 35 MPH (automatic, the highest gear). There the revs seem a hair too low for the engine to run smoothly under light load. It's far more noticeable and frequent in the X though. I haven't used the A/C much yet (we've had rain, wind and hail today). I usually turn it off manually, so I know it's not in use.
Most other driving situations are fine. It may be worse when turning. I also think it gets a little rough around 4000 RPM in 1st, like when accelerating briskly from a stop (and from reading the forums, quite a few are driving briskly ;) ).
This vibration may go away after the car warms up, although by warm up I mean more than 20 minutes. Most of my trips are less than or equal to that.
While I'm at it, mine also has the less than smooth 1-2 shift, especially at lower RPM (say 3200) shifts, although that may also improve as trip time increases.
Edit : The RPM range that vibrates should be more like 1200-1400. I tried revving in neutral - there's a hint of vibration, but not enough to notice really. And I have to say, the shifting from 1-2 may be smoother now than a few months ago. It doesn't seem to rumble/stutter through that shift nearly as often as I thought. |

| Did you ever figure out the cause of the vibration? My 2007 X has the same problem. But it doesn't go away after the car is warmed up. |

No, I didn't ever figure anything out. And since my wife drives it most of the time now, I can't even say if either of the issues I mentioned still exist. After a while, I just get used to some of these things, or the mechanicals may have worn in. I'll have to pay attention next time I drive it.
For the record, I still find the overall behavior of the powertrain to be very good. |

That's good to hear. I'll see what the dealer say when I bring it in this weekend. |

Has this been fixed? I just got an 08 sport/ent and the gas and brake pedal vibrations are annoying? How can I escalate my issue to Acura?

Unfortunately, it has not been fixed. I haven't heard from Acura whether they have the fix or not.
