Hey out there! I just messed up my rear wiper by not putting down the back before I drove it into the garage. I'm such an
idiot. Anyway, do any of you know if that can be replaced or repaired? The wiper doesn't sit up at its original spot. It's sitting just at the bottom of the rear window. Any suggestions? Costs for me to deal with this? Thanks alot!!! |

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.
You should read and make a post to this thread "What's the dumbest thing you have ever done with your MDX". It may make you feel better knowing that you are not the Lone Ranger when it comes to doing something stupid with your X. This thread is not short.

By bumping the thread I bet we have some new members besides yourself that can contribute.
Don't have any answers for fixing your wiper. May have to replace it. |

If you're lucky, you just stripped the nut-n-bolt. Easy and cheap to replace. If you're unlucky, you killed the mount/shaft to the motor assembly.
You can pop off the lower cover on the arm, right at the pivot, to have a look yourself. |

Hey thanks Baldeagle and the Worm for your reply.
After that incident I turned on my wipers and it still worked. So would you say the motor still works and need to just replace the nut and bolt? I haven't popped the cover to check it out. Didn't see a way to open it. I'll check it out. Do you think I should just take it to the dealer and have them check it out? Thanks everyone. |

The rear blade can be slightly lifted up to clean the rear glass. I have done this many times without a problem. |
