Why can't I report problems that i have with my MDX while everyone else can?. I am really annoyed with some individual people here about attacking me of posting the problems i have with my mdx.
I can say i hate my mdx can't i?.
Now can some of you dig thatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt?
Do i need to list the problems that i had with this car again?
Oh sure i have: brake click/clunk, transmision click when shift to park, and sometimes fuel tank slosh..... THose are the 3 problems i have. |

There are tons of info on this forum on all those topics, and more. This is not a clearing house for MDX problems, but a venue to discuss them.
It is also not just a '*****' room for complainers. If you are unhappy with your X for some reason, most of us want to know. But we want to read about the problem, how it manifested itself, things you have already tried, etc. We all have received help on here for various issues by doing some research and presentling the problem in a clear thoughtful manner.
The "I hate this car, and I am ready to drive it off a cliff...." approach will get a response that will help no one, if you get a response at all.
I am not accusing you of anything. I am just trying to convey what typically works, and what typically does not. |

Those aren't "problems", they are "characteristics". If they really bother you that much, then you ought to seriously consider selling the car and buying something else. Really.

I had a 1968 VW that had a sunroof that open when I accelerated and closed when I stopped. Some called it broken while I called automatic! I have yet to see that kind of innovation in any other car.

I've never viewed any of these "flame" posts before.
It's really sad that a person has nothing better to do than hassle MDX owners that just want to communicate with each other. Hard to imagine that a person can be that devoid of a life.

He just remind me how lucky I am to have this place to find everything about my car! and yes MDX is not perfect! so what? If I could find a better car, I would have! However, MDX is the best I could find to fit my lifestyle. If someone don't like it, too bad, don't get one!

OK. I think people got shaq's points:
1. MDX has problems
2. You think MDX is crap and RX300 is better
3. This board is crap
To your points:
1. All cars have problems. Break click/clang IS a problem, so is the fuel tank slush - they are annoying little things that a luxury manufacturer should not have. Is this a major problem? Not for me and not for the majority of people.
2. Again, every car has a problem. As much as I like Lexus, look at the problems the new GX has. RX is a great SUV, nobody argues with that. But the fact that this board exists, may give you a hint that most of people here prefer MDX. So, repeating that MDX is crap will not get you anywhere. It is like somebody coming to your house and telling you every minute that your house is crap and you are a moron! What would YOU do to that person? Would you sit and keep listening to it or you would say "I had enough of this"?
3. This board is for people who want to give and get value from their postings. Making your points heard is value. Repeating them and posting over and over is not! I think this board gave you enough of freedom to speak and make these points! You MADE your points What else do you want? By repeating the same thing, you are not going to accomplish much more - just will piss off people. Is that your goal? If it is, you deserve to be banned and your IP blocked. |
