Man charged after officer nearly run over
EDMONTON - A police school resource officer was almost hit in a parkade by a vehicle driven by a man with a prostitute.
The officer was patrolling on foot Wednesday when he spotted a blond woman apparently performing a sex act on a man in the driver's seat of a 2002 Acura MDX sport utility vehicle.
As the officer approached the vehicle from about 20 metres away, the driver started the engine and slowly began to drive toward him.
The constable, with his flashlight out, motioned for the SUV to stop. Instead, the driver allegedly sped up, causing the tires to squeal, and drove straight at the police officer.
The officer shouted "Stop, police," then drew his gun and aimed it at the driver. The SUV came to a stop just centimetres from the officer.
The driver was ordered to keep his hands up as the officer approached his door, said police spokesman Wes Bellmore.
"The officer reports that the man kept putting his hands out of sight, so the constable pulled the driver from the vehicle and handcuffed him on the parkade floor before calling for backup."
The 18-year-old woman told police she was working as a prostitute and she frequently brought her customers to the parkade. She was not charged. |

Going to see if the wife wants to climb in the second row with the two booster seats for our twins and see if she want to have a nother set of twins. LOL I think I know what her answer is.
We have been mixing water and gas to help save on fuel to pay for our diapers. |

Been there and done that. The secret is to go in the winter time (like now) when its too cold to hang outside the vehicle after dark. Its a good thing the 2nd & 3rd row seats all fold flat. I advise a self-inflating hybrid foam-inflatable pad (SlumblerJack or ThermaRest) and a thick fleece blanket for comfort (not sleeping bags). I camped out for nearly 4 weeks from Los Angeles to Inuvik in the X and found it was very ergonomic for both in-car camping an the amorous activities involved. The 10 cup holders offer multiple access to whiskey, shaken margaritas, red wine, champagne, or nearly a twelve-pack of imported beer. |
