I'm surprised I didnt c this poll but there's been a poll like this b4

Chrome Rims 17"-20"

I like the look of chrome rims, but not willing to pay big $$$.

And I, traflo that I am, think that chrome rims, especially the large-diameter ones with 30, 40, or 50 series tires, cheapen the looks of any vehicle. I've never seen an X in person with chrome rims.

This is how it'll look like on a PT Cruiser.

I like those..they're niceee even if they arent chrome (i neva thought I'd sey that)..
I found 20", wheel and tire package for $1860
Chrome= 20" Katana Exclusive
darkhelmet
Chrome 18" Akuza Sublimes w/ 255-55 Pirelli Scorpions for 3 seasons

Stock 17" in the winter

Really wanted 19" wheels but it would have meant not getting the chrome steps.

My wife (and 17 year old grandson) chose chrome Momo Quasar2 17" rims. They do look nice in my opinion.

Keeper of the MuDoX,

Q: Any particular reason for going with a 17" rim?

Q: Did you keep your Michelin Cross Terrain tires?

Assuming wider rims, he probably intends to go with larger tires, lower profile when it's time to replace. I believe 255/60-17 have the same diameter as 235/65-17. They will look better, with probably some improvement in dry handling, even braking.
Happy_MDX
Please add chrome standard 17 " rim to this poll
KingBmdxFLIP22
Happy_MDX, anything other than the OEM 17" Alloy Rims is for the 17-20" Chrome Rims

I liked the way it handled with the original 17" rims and didn't want to change the factory design. It also allowed me to continue to use the original tires.

There are other minor issues such as speedometer calibration that were considered. I also think the vehicle looks best with the original sized rims.

PS: Anyone in the Sacramento, CA area need a set of original touring rims at a good price? :roadtrip:

Well, I found out there is a limit to the size of image file that this site will take ... it appears that my 4 megapixel image is mucho too large. I'll have to take one with my camera set to something less in size than it is set for right now. Maybe tomorrow ...:1pat:

Keeper of the MuDoX,

Try resizing your pics to 640 x 480 before posting. This should work. Good luck.:29:
