Hi all,
I am new to this forum and immediately after reading problems section of this forum, iam worried.
Although my mdx hasn't have any problems yet but i am a bit worried by reading in this forum. How can a car that expensive give so many problems like owner listed here?.
Am i worried too much ahead of time?. What do owners in this forum think?

| First welcome, second no car no matter how expensive is free from problems anyone remember the recall on the Rolls Royce? Anywho just follow owners manual as far as maintenace, any TSB (which are few) posted by our members check yours out, and get friendly with you service advisor. If you check MB or Lexus or BMW or any other, they have their share of problems as well. Enjoy your X. |

Not to worry. I haven't had any major problems with my MDX either. Just remember, expensive or not, the MDX is a machine. It will require maintenance and will have mechanical challenges from time to time. The problems reported sometimes seem to overshadow the happiness that most members have with their MDX's. Without explaining reasons to members and just joking about it makes me wonder that this Acura MDX forums for all members seems if they are for just a few powerful :) controllers and their friends.

I'm not a powerful controller, and I fully support banning this troll. Even more telling than his IP (and he could have multiple IP's) is his strained use of the English language. You can fake an IP, but you can't fake Mrs. Henry's seventh grade English class. |

I'd be happy to tell you that we wouldn't pre-emptively ban someone unless we were certain it was the same user. In cases where it wasn't a certainty but was probable, we would just keep an eye on the "suspicious new member" until the posts demonstrated that he (or she) either is or is not someone we have banned in the past.
I can guarantee you with 100% certainty that the originator of this thread is the same person as mdxsux, coolguy, and whatever variations-on-the-theme he's used over the past couple of weeks.
I'm not going to detail exactly how we determine it, because there are ways to get around pretty much anything, and divulging the techniques would just encourage a persistent troll to get around them.
And we know mdxsux/dumbguy/etc is persistent, if not all that bright.
