I received my new x in april and it is probably the best vehicle I have ever owned. However, there are two bump like objects that are in the rear area of both of the front seats. Now one of these is really sticking up more than the other, as if it is spring or something. Could the be the heating element or what? This is probably going to come thru the leather eventully not to mention the feel of this thing sticking up where the sun don't shine.
Question is , what is it?? |

| No idea what it could be, I'd take it back to the dealer and have the take a look. Make sure you get a service receipt in case they say it's nothing and it turns into something down the road. |

| I notice something "hard" in that area, but it doesn't feel like a bump -- more like a piece of flat metal maybe 1"X2". I just assumed it was normal, and probably part of the seat heater. |

perhaps some medicated creme of some sort or even antibiotics would help, but whatever you do, just don't scratch it!
