| Pages 375 376, of the Owners Manual, talk about the Malfunction Indicator Lamp. Page 376 discusses the Readiness Codes that are part of the on-board diagnostics for the emissions systems. The Manual states, To check if they are set, turn the ignition ON (II), but do not start the engine. The Malfunction Indicator Lamp will come on for 20 seconds. If it then goes off, the readiness codes are set. If it blinks 5 times, the readiness codes are not set. It further goes on to say to drive the vehicle for one or two weeks to see if the readiness codes set. Well almost one month later mine is still blinking; guess I will take it in to the dealer at the 3,750 mile service. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you or the dealers do to fix it? |
