Heyyy, I wanna add thin pinstripes on the side body of my MDX. The MDX is white has the gold package.. I'm not sure if I shud get silver pinstripes or gold pinstripes.

THE SILVER Pinstripes also match the gray fender flares.
My MDX looks like TSARMS's MDX.
Here's my argument=
Silver
-matches fenderflares and chrome accents
Gold
-matches gold emblem kit

I agree with hockeyplayer....I'm not a big fan of pinstripes. There is no right or wrong, all personal preference, but on white I would go with Silver. |

| I think pin strips look ugly on white. But gold on blue and grey on silver looks the best.:4: |

Your arguments pretty succinctly nail the problem I have with the gold package. It ends up mixing chrome and gold. |

| I would do a pinstripe that matches the interior. Gold or silver wouldnt look so good. |

| Unlike the other posters, I'm going to support your wanting to get pinstripes on your X. We got silver ones to compliment the chrome door handles, side steps, etc. on our Midnight Blue Pearl, and they really add a lot to the whole look. Since there is nothing from the gold package on the sides, I think silver would look 100% better than gold. Let us know what you decide to do. :4: |

| One of the reasons we got the X is the clean look of the exterior. Over time either paint or tape, pinstripes seem to peal or lift along the edges, I vote NO stripe. |

Yea, I wuz thinkin of no pinstripes. But I want silver pinstripes becuz:
-it does complement the fenders, chrome handles, running boards, ect. ANYTHIN gray, silver or chrome.
-its a thin line, nuthin BIG, nuthin TOO noticeable, its sleek and blends in..
-IT PERSONALIZES THE MDX; it something different, nuthin extreme but it makes the MDX my own--same reason I would get Chrome Rims, if I save enuff money, I'll get Chrome 20's..I think of this as a cheaper version of getting chrome rims. |

I put gold/silver painted pinstripes on mine.. but it's a darker color.. with the white.. I'd probably keep it plain.

| I decided for now that I'll keep the MDX clean of any pinstripes. I'll just add a gold exhaust and BSM. My dad doesn't think a gold exhaust to complement the gold emblem kit is a good idea because he thinks people in the city might attempt to steal it when it's parked. O well, I'll still buy it. :blingblin :roadtrip: |
