This last week, my oldest daughter graduated with honors from High School. She's headed to Grambling University to major in Forensic Psycology and Political Science... What a combo...

Forensic Psych and PoliSci is indeed an "interesting" combo. At least one of those will be marketable when she's done! So many college students don't even figure out what they want to do (and then declare a major) til their in their Soph year of college -- how'd she decide on those? |

She's an avid reader, and she came across books that chronicled the Forensic Psych profession, and it interested her. Prior to that, she had expressed a desire to enter the political arena.

But I am not used to how late the rest of the country gets out of school:eek:
My 9th grader has been out since May 22. All Houston area schools that I know of completed graduation ceremonies by the end of May. |
