The type-S model comes standard with body colored side mirror attachments.

Here is an interior pic with the lights off during the day.

Another interior pic with the lights on during the day. Looks much better at night. Other suvs always try pulling along side to look inside. The gauge and pedal lights can change colors with the controller mounted above the pedals out of sight.

Here is an older pic I dug up from my computer.

Okay where did you get the cool gauges?
manus1980
The gauges I believe are modified from a Honda Accord. I still have a couple more set of identical pedals if anyone is interested. I don't have the dual exausts but a couple members I recall do have them.

manus,

Did you do the gauages yourself? What year Accord?
manus1980
I did the gauges with the help of another car enthusiast friend. I can now take my dash apart with my eyes closed. I have a set of identical gauges unmodified. The gauges won't fit without some cutting and modification though. If anyone is interested I can get gauges done for a fellow MDXer. You would have to mail me your gauge cluster in the mail though and it will take several days. All my needles work perfectly and appear violet with the blue light in the back ground mixing with the orange lights of the needles. I know how to change the color of the digital display to blue as well to match the climate dispay. I didn't do this mod for my display but know how.

manus,

Can you include some details on how you took apart the guage cluster? Was the mod fairly difficult to do? It looks really tight man.

Also, what did you mean by digital display? Isn't the digital display blue already? Do you mean the odometer?

The TL gauge cluster is almost exactly like the MDX and it is white too.

Doesn't the TL have a section in the tach for the tipronics gear indicator?

When you start taking notice of gauges, all the honda and acura gauges have similar designs. When I say the digital display I meant the Odometer/door ajar display, which is beige not blue.
The gauge project isn't that bad if you have done it before. Otherwise it is scary because the needles are so fragile, and can easily break or become uncalibrated. Also it is a little overwhelming to see your dash apart with the gauge cluster missing with wires hanging all over the place.
Once you start taking notice of small details such as the side view mirrors the change is huge. It is a detail that Lexus takes notice of and one of those small touches that is a great touch for that high class look. That little uncolored section on the X says "I wasn't painted to help cut on expenses."
